Fractional head of data
A fractional head of data is a senior data leader who works inside your company for a few days each month. Nilaad provides one for scale-ups and mid-market companies that need direction for their data team and are not ready to hire the role full time.
What the role covers
- Sets priorities and the roadmap for the data team.
- Leads and coaches the analysts and engineers you have.
- Speaks for data in leadership meetings.
- Chooses tools and vendors.
- Defines the metrics the company runs on.
- Prepares the hire of a permanent lead and helps you interview.
How it runs
A monthly agreement for a set number of days, remote with visits where they help. It ends when you hire, with a handover to the new lead.
